The brand’s ethos is reflected in the name, Texlum, born from the intertwining of two Latin words: textum — meaning both text and fabric — and lumen, light.

With textile roots and authentically Venetian by family, birth, and primary residence, Andrea also feels at home in Como, Paris, and New York, where he lived for several years after studying engineering in Padua. His passion for light, design, technology, and Venice gave rise to his first conversation with Stefano about the creation of Texlum.
Since his studies in Economics at Ca’ Foscari, Stefano has nurtured a sort of devotion to Venetian eclecticism, which he has preserved and carried with him throughout an international and multi-sector career in sales & marketing. Joining Andrea in Venice to create Texlum seemed like a completely natural step.
