For the reception of the historic Hotel Gabrielli in Venice, recently restored, Andrea Auletta designed a screen crafted in Lucens Ruskin, with shaped panels echoing the arches of Venetian four-light windows. The fabric is the light itself: integrated into the weave and diffused in a soft, adjustable manner, it offers a surprising and commanding welcome for the palace’s visitors. A piece of furniture that symbolizes the dialogue between noble materials and light, the heart of the building’s Venetian identity.
