Wisteria Restaurant – Venice

Lucens Ruskin framed panels

Descrizione

At Wistèria—a Michelin-starred restaurant on a quiet canal in San Polo, near the Frari and the Scuola di San Rocco—the walls featured large empty frames. The owners commissioned custom-made Lucens Ruskin panels to fill them with something connected to that place. The reference is to John Ruskin and his way of interpreting Venice through matter and light: the panels work on the same idea, remaining discreet by day and finding their finest character in the evening twilight, when they contribute to the atmosphere of the dining room.
